Organic Farming And waste Management

INTRODUCTION: Mushrooms are unique in the produce section because they are fungi and not vegetables. What we typically think of as a mushroom is the fleshy, fruiting, spore-bearing body of a fungus.  Mushrooms form from a small structure called a primordium which grows on some type of substrate. The primordium enlarges into an egg-shaped structure composed of hyphae, called a “button.” Mycelium, called the universal veil, surrounds the button initially. As the button grows, the veil breaks.  we went there and learnt so many things how to grow a mushroom and how to maintain all things and we enjoyed. ORGANIC FARMING : Organic farming is a method of farming that prioritizes the use of natural inputs such as compost and manure instead of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. This method of farming promotes the use of sustainable and environmentally friendly practices, making it a popular choice for individuals who want to minimize their environmental impact. We had a guest...

Heritage Walk

After living a sequence of uneventful days in my life, this was the day when we visited  Nalknad Palace & Padi Sri Igguthappa Temple. Here, I was amazed by the intellectuality of the architects who designed this stupendous structure, which had sophisticated underground passages which served as a good hideout place for the King. This was also the place where the sister of the king was married to the prince of another kingdom, this structure was called "Kalyana Mantapa". Then we traveled to Padi Sri Igguthappa Temple, a temple that has high spiritual importance in the Kodava Tribe.  History of Nalknad Palace The palace was built by a Haleri rule Dodda Virarajendra in the year 1792. This palace was built by him because of his victory and escape from the troops of Tipu Sultan’s kingdom. His wedding to Mahadevammaji also took place in this palace in 1796. In order to protect the kingdom against enemies, the king also planned and built an underground tunnel whic...

Surrounding includes humans, animals, microbes, coral reefs, aquatic animals, all greeneries, abiotic elements, etc.Our environment is a precious gift , and we all should handle it with utmost care. It is the natural ecological system where we live, depending on each other for our survival. The environment can also be defined as the combination and interrelation between all Biotic and Abiotic components. The ecosystem of our environment should be maintained in a proper balance, and if any part of the ecosystem gets harm or disturbed, then the whole ecosystem will get affected.  we had visited  ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) which  i s a knowledge and Resource Center of Indian council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). This aids devopping and dessimination of location specific technologies at district level. And we planted a plant there w...
